when will we take stock of what surrounds us
look for real at the waters that bind us
realise for good that the devil won't shroud us
with a cloud of fear and loathing, to cripple us
they don't represent us
and they never will
so it's time to go, and disrupt the still
tear down the things they've built
you don't represent me
and you never will
with these hands I'll tear down
everything you've built
Everything about this album is incredible, by far their deepest and most emotional release to date, that was influenced by their trip to Japan, and documented in the companion book. The album was recorded everywhere from forests to studios to busy intersections. Another brilliant release from this completely underrated Sydney duo. Leslie Bowden

The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024
